My store• Angelo Gómez (28), owner of Supermarket La Campiña.
“Due to the crisis in Venezuela, I came to live in Chile in search of new opportunities. Initially, I wanted to come here for a few months, but then I realized that here you could grow and that there were more tools, so I decided to stay and, with that, my wife came from there.
This place is about a year and three months old. I am an auditor accountant, so I decided to install it after working at Lo Valledor as head of Treasury and Sales. I felt that it gave me an impetus to start my own business, and so far it has worked very well.
We, in general, focus on selling imported products from Colombia, Venezuela and Peru . This has meant that the people who buy from us are diverse, from different parts of Latin America, although predominantly from Venezuela. It is a multicultural place. A super enriching mix is made because the Chilean consumes things from Colombia, or the Venezuelan buys products from Peru. Sharing cultures has been a contribution because although there is uncertainty with products that one does not know, we take care of teaching and showing those things that people later love.
En During this process, Bredenmaster has been essential because they have given us support to continue growing in this location. They help us supply salty and sweet products, and this has allowed us to attract new customers. I think that reflects what is happening in Chile, where the gateway to immigrants has been opened and now we create jobs, buy properties, or rent apartments.
I love my job . Setting up this place was the best decision I've ever made because it allows me to dedicate something of my own. You work 5 times more, but you are left with a feeling of satisfaction. The result is for you, your family and the future.”
Angelo Gómez (28) owns Supermarket La Campiña (San Diego 606, Santiago) and is part of our network of Warehouses at BredenMaster, whom we accompany in the development of their business.
