“I took over this location in 2021, when it already existed. It was a minimarket that had a bit of everything, but it lacked a boost, so together with my two children we changed its name and began to adapt it so that it would fit our tastes.

I came to Chile from Venezuela 5 years ago and my first job was in a minimarket. Somehow, it fit what I was doing there, where I was in sales. Later I did other things, but I came back because I liked what a job like this meant. I focused on having my own store, having my own business and having my independence.

With BredenMaster, we made a contact because we wanted to have bread, empanadas and pastries, so they arrived at the time accurate. It has been a great contribution and we have grown a lot in sales. People come to look mainly for bread in the morning and empanadas for lunch. And the fact is that 90% of our clients are students and people who work in the neighbourhood.

Having my store has been a wonderful experience. It is difficult to describe it, because somehow now I feel that I am reaping the harvest and fruits of my discipline. I have put a lot of heart and work into it to get here. When things are done with love, it shows; although the road has not been easy. In the end, the only way to be successful is to work for pleasure, because everything else comes by itself.”

Antonio Gaglione (55) owns Gali Market (Av. Salvador 1067, Providencia) and is part of our network of Warehouses at BredenMaster, whom we accompany in the development of their business.
