“This business started 15 years ago as a tiny locale. My mom started it and I took it in 2007, when I was laid off. At the time, I was working for an airline and was just buying an apartment. While I was looking for another problem, I decided that it could be a good option to come here. With that, I could eat and pay the dividend.

It turns out that I stayed… It was a time when I was full, because I really wanted to emerge and grow this enterprise.

There came a time when I decided to put all my chips into this business because it needed more hands and more presence. And from one day to the next, I dedicated myself 100% to the place. My mom, since the pandemic, hasn't come to take care of her health, so we had to hire more people, and now we work with three people and with a view to continuing to grow.

My idea is to open more branches, in more places in Santiago, to position this brand. I would like them to identify me and say 'that's your Minimarket'. It's a job I like because it allows me to be my own boss."

Cristián (49) owns Tu Minimarket (Ignacio Carrera Pinto 4993, Macul) and is part of our network of Warehouses at BredenMaster, whom we accompany in the development of their business.
