• 250g butter at room temperature
• 85g dark cocoa powder
• 250g powdered sugar
• 2 tsp vanilla essence
• 3 to 4 tbsp milk
• Chocolate eggs or candied almonds to decorate
Instructions:
1. Using a mixer, beat butter on high speed until doubled in volume and smooth and foamy. (It's 5 minutes approx).
2. Then add the bitter cocoa along with the powdered sugar and mix well.
3. Start by adding the vanilla essence and 3 tablespoons of milk. The idea is that the frosting has a smooth consistency and not too thick. If you feel it is too compact, add another tablespoon of milk.
4. Fill a piping bag with a small, circular hole and decorate the nest.
