  • 3 large tomatoes, quartered
  • 50g red paprika
  • 1 dash of olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A pinch of garlic powder (optional)
  • Fresh Basil


  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC
  2. Arrange the tomatoes and paprika in an ovenproof dish. Spread a drizzle of olive oil over them and season with the sugar, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  3. Bake for one hour and then remove from the oven.
  4. While it's still hot, mash the tomato and paprika with a fork. They should be soft enough. You can also grind everything in the food processor.
  5. Chop a couple of basil leaves and mix with the sauce.
  6. Combine with BredenMaster cheese balls
